JM Security Systems, the award-winning security systems company, has taken delivery of a new fleet of vehicles to help reduce its carbon footprint.
The liveried top-of-the-range fleet of six vans, four estate cars and one transit van are all fitted with high-spec technology such as dashcams and trackers that show how fuel efficient they are and record the way the vehicles are being driven.
The vehicles replace the old fleet of vans, which were bought two years ago as part of its growing commitment to making eco-friendly choices.
Jay Masood, managing director of the company, which is based in Summer Lane, said: “With our continued year-on-year growth, we have to ensure we have sufficient vehicles to keep our busy engineers on the road. At the same time, it is crucial we have a reliable fleet that offers exceptional fuel efficiency and has low CO2 emissions.
“We cover hundreds of thousands of miles a year in our vehicles, so being more environmentally friendly is a major consideration. As we celebrate our tenth anniversary this year, it seemed a fitting birthday present to ourselves.”
