JM Security Systems Sponsor West Midlands Crimestoppers Conference & 25th Anniversary

JM Security Systems were the proud sponsors of the first Crimestoppers Midlands Conference, held in Rugby, where the UK Charity's 25 years of success was celebrated. Victims of crime, community volunteers, ex-gang members and law enforcement officials all attended this event on 8th March 2013 at the Brownsover Hotel in Rugby.

Key speakers included the Chief Constable of Warwickshire Police Andy Parker, Police and Crime Commissioners Bill Longmore (West Mercia) and Ron Ball (Warwickshire), Bill Cullen (Deputy Chief Executive Hinckley and Bosworth Council) and Bill Griffiths, a long-serving trustee of the charity who first brought Crimestoppers to the UK in the 1980's.

West Midlands Regional Manager for Crimestoppers, Pauline Hadley said "It was inspiring to hear from so many key people who value the achievements of Crimestoppers and our engagement with vulnerable communities. Communities are asking us to help them to get criminals off their streets. We can do this with the help of volunteers and organisations across the Midlands by working together."

As the only Business Associate for the West Midlands committee, JM Security Systems have developed a unique working partnership with Crimestoppers and offer their security solutions at preferential rates to all Crimestoppers partners and followers to protect their businesses and homes.

JM Security Systems Business Development Manager said "It was an encapsulating day and we were honoured to be a part of it. The accounts from victims and ex- gang members were very moving, and the passion and dedication from volunteers was clearly visible. We celebrated Crimestoppers 25years of success in providing consistent actionable information to the Police to help to arrest criminals and prevent crime." Chief Constable, Andy Parker confirmed this: "In Warwickshire alone we have had 700 pieces of actionable information from Crimestoppers last year, which lead to 17 arrests made as a result. That's 700 pieces of information and 17 arrests we would not have had, had it not been for Crimestoppers."

By strengthening our working partnership with Crimestoppers UK and Police, JM Security Systems can protect businesses and homes in Midlands from the potentially devastating consequences of crime and fire. JM Security Systems look forward to the next 25 years in working with Crimestoppers in fighting crime.
